Website Privacy Policy and Security

Any personal information or material sent to the walnutbendlodge.com website are subject to our Privacy Policy.  The Privacy Policy forms a part of these Terms and Conditions. Information sent by you to us through this website is not encrypted. You acknowledge that we do not guarantee the security of the content of any such information, and it is entirely your responsibility to satisfy yourself as to whether our security measures are sufficient for your requirements.

Lodging Policies, including Cancellation & Refund Policies

1. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance.
2. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
3. Cancellations made 30 days or less before the arrival date will result in forfeiting your entire deposit.
4. A maximum of 10 persons allowed to stay as overnight guests in the Lodge (2 queen beds, 2 full beds, and 2 loft twin beds). Additional persons may be allowed to reside overnight outdoors on the property but it must be approved by the owner prior to stay on a case-by-case situation.
5. Any refund issued due to unsafe weather conditions are at the discretion of the owners on a case-by-case situation.
6. Minimum 2 night stay required for accommodations on weekends, holidays and deer/turkey hunting seasons.
7. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. Please let the owners know if you intend to arrive before or after 2:00 p.m. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
8. Please remove waders before entering any of the buildings.
9. There is no smoking inside any of the buildings or any of the porches. A $350 recovery fee (plus tax) will be charged to guests who smoke inside any building to cover the cost of cleaning and restoring the rooms to a smoke-free condition. Additional charges may apply for damages. If you choose to smoke outside, please keep your cigarettes on your person or dispose in trash bin.
10. Pets are not permitted indoors. A $350 recovery fee (plus tax) will be charged to guests who bring pets in the buildings to cover the cost of cleaning and restoring the rooms. Additional charges may apply for damages.
11. If any property of Walnut Bend Lodge is damaged or missing, the cost of repairing or replacing the item(s) will be charged to your credit card.
12. Heron’s Next Farms, LLC assumes no responsibility for loss of personal items or for contents left in rooms/autos, any injury/illness acquired while on the premise, operating any rented equipment or during any recreational activities while on the property.
13. Walnut Bend Lodge and Heron’s Nest Farm, LLC property is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Fishing Policies 

1. All persons must be properly licensed per the State of Missouri regulations while fishing on Heron’s Nest, LLC property.
2. Only flies and artificial lures may be used, and soft plastic baits and natural and scented baits are prohibited when fishing for any species. Gigging, bowfishing and using an atlatl are prohibited, and fish taken by these methods may not be possessed on these waters or their banks.
3. Please properly collect and dispose of personal trash, including fishing lines.  PLEASE DO NOT LITTER!
4. Creek and bank access will be allowed on all Heron’s Nest Farm, LLC owned property. While on adjoining Conservation Department property, you must abide by Conservation Department fishing guidelines. Trespassing laws apply on all other adjoining private properties.
5. All of our buildings and land are 100% smoke free. If you choose to smoke outside, please discard your cigarette butts in an outside waste bin or keep them on your person.

Event Policies

All events require a special event contract to ensure the safety of our clients and their guests, and protection of our property. Each event will received a personalized agreement for review and signature prior to guarantee of reservation. We are required to abide by local laws which apply to all of our clients during a stay.
